Braking Screen
(Overstriding)
Runner will have to work harder to overcome braking forces that are counterproductvely slowing them down.
Bounding
Energy expended to produce vertical movement isn't productive with forward movement. Minimizing vertical movement and maximizing horizontal is the key to efficiency and performance. This is a learned skill.
Twisting
There are three planes of movement. Running is primarily in the sagittal plane. Excessive movement in the transverse plane (twisting) is inefficient counterproductive to forward movement.

Intended for those that are working with large groups of runners and/or do not have the ability to individually video and breakdown mechanics. No equipment is needed for assessment and correction.
*Can be a great introductory for clinicians working with injured runners to screen their mechanics to see if it could be a contributing factor.

These pass/fail screens can be done with the naked eye and will allow you to immediately classify runners into different efficiency faults. I will provide you with an effective coaches cue and physical drill to correct this.
Having a systematic screening process will allow you to pick up on running form inefficiencies much faster in the future. Once the runner can pass all three screens they can work on other skills.
